The price, read properly
That is an ordinary sale price rather than a clearance — around the middle of what we see across the listings we check. It is real money off, but it is not a reason to hurry.
One caveat we will not paper over: this is measured against Amazon's own listed price, not against the lowest figure the product has ever carried. Our record of this listing starts on 18 August 2026, so it is a comparison, not a history.
The listing carries an end date of 1 October 2026. Retailers pull pages early and without warning, so read that as the outer edge rather than a promise.
The nearest things to it
The closest tracked listings in tablets are Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ 13.1” 256GB Wi-Fi Android Tablet US Version at $689.99 (Amazon) and Apple iPad Air 11-inch at $749.00 (Amazon). It is the cheapest of the three, which is the strongest thing the price has going for it.
These are the nearest listings by price that our tracker currently holds, not a survey of the market. Anything not on sale at one of the six retailers we follow does not appear here at all.
Its M4 chip plus Apple Intelligence makes this the strongest reason to pick it for future-proof performance.
