What you actually get
The paragraph below is Amazon's own sales copy. We keep it quoted and set apart rather than folded into our text, because marketing prose and a description are not the same thing — and because what it leaves out is as useful as what it claims.
Stay closer to your heart health—The most accurate heart rate sensing in a wearable,¹ Series 12 now measures HRV as often as every five minutes for insights on stress and recovery, and takes background heart rate readings every five seconds. A Full-featured health tracker—Better understand your body with invaluable health insights. View your overnight health metrics with the Vitals app⁷ and get a daily sleep score, track your menstrual cycle,⁶ and take readings of your blood oxygen. Check your readiness for the day—Know when to rest or put yourself to the test.
The price, read properly
Amazon publishes a single figure for this configuration — $389.99 — and no separate list price beside it. That removes the usual anchor, and it is the honest reason you will find no percentage anywhere on this page. The specification has to justify the money on its own.
The listing carries an end date of 13 November 2026. Retailers pull pages early and without warning, so read that as the outer edge rather than a promise.
What else the tracker has at this money
The closest tracked listings in wearables are Apple Watch Series 12 GPS 46mm Space Gray Aluminum Case with Navy Blue Sport Band - M/L at $439.99 (Amazon) and Apple Watch SE 3 [GPS 44mm] Smartwatch with Midnight Aluminum Case with Midnight Sport Band - M/L. Fitness and Sleep Trackers at $279.00 (Amazon). So this sits in the middle of its own bracket — which is usually the least interesting place to be unless the specification says otherwise.
These are the nearest listings by price that our tracker currently holds, not a survey of the market. Anything not on sale at one of the six retailers we follow does not appear here at all.
The strongest reason to pick it is the heart and recovery data density, with HRV every five minutes and background heart rate every five seconds.
