What the number is worth
Amazon publishes a single figure for this configuration — $639.99 — and no separate list price beside it. That removes the usual anchor, and it is the honest reason you will find no percentage anywhere on this page. The specification has to justify the money on its own.
The listing carries an end date of 28 September 2026. Retailers pull pages early and without warning, so read that as the outer edge rather than a promise.
What else the tracker has at this money
The closest tracked listings in gaming & consoles are Nintendo Switch 2: Choose Your Game Bundle at $635.00 (Best Buy) and Playstation 5 Disc Console Slim -1Tb at $645.99 (Amazon). So this sits in the middle of its own bracket — which is usually the least interesting place to be unless the specification says otherwise.
These are the nearest listings by price that our tracker currently holds, not a survey of the market. Anything not on sale at one of the six retailers we follow does not appear here at all.
The strongest reason to pick this model is the combination of a 1TB SSD, a disc drive and full PS4 backwards compatibility in one console.
